The pepper plants have come in to roost
The leaves are rapidly dropping here in the Interior, and we are trying to get in a few more hikes and put the garden to bed for the winter.  Since the moose did such a thorough job of cleaning out the green stuff we haven't had as much work to do.  We harvested all the tomatoes last week and they are ripening nicely in bags.  Potatoes harvested, onions harvested, carrots mostly harvested.  It was a great gardening year and we learned a lot and are excited to get back to it again next year.

Fall colors are abundant this time of year.  It may not last that long, but fall in the Interior is so beautiful.  We got out for a nice explore this weekend and soaked it in.  We finished our first week of homeschool this week and I was very happy with how we entered our first grade year.  Hope everyone had a wonderful summer and with any luck our travels this winter will bring us knocking at your door!
